AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), founded in 1897, is the oldest global association concerned with all types of intellectual property rights (including patents, trademarks, and copyrights). AIPPI is regularly consulted by governments and global organizations, such as the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization.
