Picharn Sukparangsee is a speaker on Thai laws and regulations at many international and regional conferences and is currently a visiting lecturer of Taxation Law at the Graduate School of Law, Assumption University. He had also been a former visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Commerce & Accountancy, Thammasat University; the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University; and the MBA Program at Kasetsart University.

He is moreover a former Registrar of the Lawyers Association of Thailand and a former committee member of the Thammasat Law Alumni Association, Thammasat University. He additionally contributes to various international publications, including the Asia Legal Business’s ALB Asia Magazine, as well as on many aspects of Doing Business handbook published by The World Bank Group.

Picharn Sukparangsee is a founding partner of the Chavalit Law Group credited for forming our Tax Group, which he currently heads, on top of being a leading member of the M&A and Corporate & Commercial Law practice groups (particularly in Finance and Securities Law). Before joining the other founding partners in establishing the Group in 2005, he was previously a partner at International Legal Counsellors Thailand (ILCT) Ltd. (Russin & Vecchi LLP).

Picharn Sukparangsee is an active member of the taxation committee of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce of Thailand. He was a member of the Legal Committee of the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ETA) and a member as well as the Assistant Secretary of the Bill Screening Committee of the Law Society of Thailand.

Furthermore, Picharn Sukparangsee is instrumental in organizing legal publications of the firm in his capacity as Editor-in-Chief and member of the Editorial Board of Montage, the Group’s official Newsletter, as well as other legal news bulletins.
